About Us

Mr. Gadot joined HelioFocus on 2008 as VP R&D leading the company’s development program and assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer on January 2010. Prior to joining HelioFocus, Mr. Gadot held several positions at Applied Materials (AMAT). He brought a broad range of management and technical experience in product lifecycle - spanning from development and engineering to operational aspects of process tools. Mr. Gadot was successful in implementing a number of significant best known methods (BKM) for mechanical development and New Product Introduction for wafer inspection and scanning electron microscopy products.
Mr. Gadot received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.Sc. in Electro-Optics Engineering, both from the faculty of Engineering, Ben-Gurion University. 

Mr. Mandelberg is responsible for HelioFocus' business development and products. Mr. Mandelberg gained over 30 years of experience in solar technology serving at various positions such as PV cell development researcher in Tel Aviv University, Head of Product Engineering in Luz and Director and COO in Coatec Ltd. His previous responsibility was Executive VP & CTO at Siemens CSP (formally known as Solel Solar Systems).
Mr. Mandelberg has a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, followed by Business Management studies both at Tel Aviv University.
 

Mr. Blumenthal joined HelioFocus as the R&D project manager leading the dish concentrator  development program. During his tenure as R&D project manager he brought significant technological innovations to the company's most cost sensitive product - the dish.
During January 2010, Mr. Blumenthal was appointed as HelioFocus Vice president for R&D and is currently leading the overall program activity. Prior to joining HelioFocus, Mr. Blumenthal held several positions at Applied Materials mainly in the field of Physics, Optics, Product Management and New Product Introduction as part of the R&D.
Mr. Blumenthal received his M.Sc in Physics from the Cologne University, Germany specializing in quantum field theory and super conductors.

Mr. Cohen joined HelioFocus as the company's Finance manager dealing with all the financial aspects of the company. 
Mr. Cohen brings various financial experience in budget control and in finance reporting from several global companies. Prior to joining HelioFocus Mr. Cohen worked in Advantech technologies, an I.T services company, as the corporate controller, followed by a position in Celebros, an internet software company, as a finance manager.
Mr. Cohen received his B.B and M.B.A both from the faculty of finance and accounting, Collage of Management.
