The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Shalom Simhon, Minister of Industry trade and labor, Chinese Ambassador Mrs. Gao Yanping, Indian Ambassador Mr. Navtej Sarna, the ambassadors from Korea, Thailand and more.
At the event, Special notation was made to HelioFocus for it's achievements so far in the solar thermal arena in china. The President of the Israel Asia Chamber of commerce Mr. Ran Cohen spoke about the great potential of cooperation between Israel and Asia especially at the current economic situation. Mr. Cohen also indicated the increase in the trade between Israel and Asia, particular in China.
Mr. Simhon, the Industry trade and labor minister raised the special relationship between the different companies active in the far east, and spoke about the Meteor program led by the ministry and the Israel export institute, which aims to support Israeli companies with their effort in the foreign trade. Mr. Shimon’s expectation is that the Meteor program will contribute to the increased growth in the commercial trade between Israel and the Asia continent.
The Israel Asia chambers of commerce award was given to HelioFocus during the annual event of the Israel-Asia Chamber of commerce in recognition of HelioFocus excellence activity in Asia.
