Mr. Eli Mandelberg - Chairman of the BoardMr. Mandelberg is responsible for HelioFocus' Business Development and products. Mr. Mandelberg gained over 20 years of experience in solar thermal technology serving at various positions such as Head of Product Engineering in Luz and Director and COO in Cotec. His previous position was in Siemens CSP (formally known as Solel Solar Systems) as Executive VP & CTO. Mr. Mandelberg received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, in which he took significant part in PV cell development as a researcher. Following that, he received his Business Management studies in Tel Aviv University, the Department of Data Management.

Mr. Shi ChuliangMr. Shi Chuliang started his career with Sanhua Holding Group, a one of TOP 100 Private Companies in China integrated of refrigeration and air-conditioning components, automobile components and real estate. He started as an engineer after his graduation from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1989. Mr. Shi was appointed as Chief Engineer in 2001, Vice General Manager of Sanhua Holding Group 2002-2006, Vice General Manager of Danfoss-Sanhua Micro-Channel Heat-Exchanger Co., Ltd. 2007-2009. Now, Mr. Shi Chuliang is the Director, Chief Engineer and Head of Advanced R&D Center. During his 20 years’ career In Sanhua, Mr. Shi Chuliang has held his own patents in engineering and created a new management system with Sanhua characteristics. Mr. Shi Chuliang received his BS in Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University and EMBA from Fudan University.

Prof. Jacob KarniProf. Karni has 25 years of research and development experience in the solar thermal filed. He has been involved in the development of novel methods for concentration, absorption, conversion, transmission and storage of concentrated solar energy, and implementing these methods in genuine solar power-conversion systems. Prior to joining HelioFocus, Prof. Karni was the Director of the Solar Energy Center of the Weizmann Institute of Science (WIS). Prof. Karni received a B.Sc in Civil Engineering, followed by M.Sc and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, all from the University of Minnesota. He has published over 70 scientific articles, and is the inventor of numerous patents.

Greg RuegerGreg Rueger, a founding owner and a past director of HelioFocus, retired from Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), one of the United States largest investor owned gas and electric utilities, after a 33 year career with the utility. Over the last 16 years with PG&E Greg served in various senior officer positions managing several of the company's business units. His last assignment was as Senior Vice President Generation and Chief Nuclear Officer. Greg has extensive experience in the planning, development and operation of power generating plants and transmission systems. He served as chairman of the Electric Power Research Institutes Environmental Division (which had responsibility for renewable energy research) and Nuclear Power Council. He also managed PG&E's research and development activities and served as past chairman of the joint US Department of Energy and Nuclear Industry research advisory council. Greg also served as a member of the National Academy for Nuclear Training Accreditation Board, member of the Board of the Nuclear Energy Institute, and on the advisory boards for the Departments of Nuclear Engineering and Electrical Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley. Greg received his bachelor of science, masters in Electrical Engineering, and MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
